Request Account Deletion - LaundrEase
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Steps to Request Account Deletion:
Fill out the contact form below with the following information:
Your full name (as registered on your account)
Email address associated with your LaundrEase account
Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
In the message, clearly state: "I request to delete my LaundrEase account and all associated data"
We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted
What Data Will Be Deleted:
Your user account information (name, email, phone number)
All saved addresses
Payment information (if stored)
All personal preferences and settings
Personal identifiers from order records
What Data Will Be Anonymized:
Order history and transaction records (personal identifiers removed, but transaction data retained for legal compliance)
Data That May Be Retained:
Financial transaction records (required by law for 7 years in South Africa)
Anonymized usage data for analytics purposes
Retention Period: Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by South African tax and accounting regulations. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted.
